Andy Flyer

Earlier this week we were in contact with the ever popular retired wrestler Andy Flyer. Although the initial contact had nothing to do with wrestling we did take the opportunity to ask Andy if he'd consider coming out of retirement to film a few matches with Cameron Matthews while Cameron is in the UK later this month. But despite our best efforts we were unable to get Andy to agree. He now has his own small business which is doing very well, and he said that his current commitment must be to maintaining that business, which we have to agree is logical. So he has no time for wrestling these days, and also reported that he's a little out of shape anyway! I'm sure we will try and talk him into a comeback again at some point later in the year, but for now it was a resounding NO......He did ask us to pass on his best wishes to all wrestling fans and was interested to know that his old mate "Derbyshire Wrestling Fan" is fit, well, and once again wrestling some great guys in private matches.....
