Peter Bainbridge & other West Country Wrestlers
In response to requests we have further pictures of Peter Bainbridge the Gloucestershire schoolboy who hit the
wrestling headlines in the mid-1980s. The action shots come from 1987 when Peter, then 16, defeated
Brighton's Johnny Lee in a youth versus experience bout that opened All Star's presentation at London's Royal
Albert Hall. The Gloucester-Cheltenham area was quite a hot bed for wrestling talent at this time and pictures
follow of Boz Berry, Jerry Sylvanos, Jeff Kerry, Steve Henley and Dave Dymond who were all active in the
closing years of the decade. If you would like to see more of any of them, let us know!
