Roger Brown

Very sadly we have to report the death of UK Wrestling Referee Roger Brown....Roger died at the weekend after a long battle against cancer, and our thoughts are with his family at this time.....Roger started refereeing in the early 1980's for All Star Wrestling and was soon one of their main ring officials alongside the likes of Frank Casey, Billy Finlay, Roy Harley, Roy Harding, Peter Szackacs, Gordon Prior and Bobby Baron. Roger also had a few bouts inside the ring under the guise "The Regency Dandy"....But to be fair to roger that was perhaps not the most successful part of his wrestling career.....But as a referee Roger was one of the most liked officials, well, liked by the wrestlers if not always by the crowd. During his time Roger refereed a number of televised bouts.....You'll be sadly missed by both your family and friends Roger.....All the best!
